Improving upon the first edition of this book, I’ve streamlined and updated various sections based on reader feedback. The book is lighter, more upbeat, and has ditched some of the less popular stories, while adding a few new twists that, in some cases, are even more personal to me.
The most noticeable change was a new subtitle that really cuts to the mission I took on when I started this book. We see it in our politicians, some CEOs, and even our military leaders (many retired). There seems to be a race to the bottom and an abdication of the moral high ground out of expediency or short-term gains.
My goal is to establish a framework that sends you down a different path. Having experienced ethical drift, compromising values one small decision at a time, this is a personal plea. Do better. We can all do better.
